Website Terms of Use

This Site operates as an online marketplace to enable Users to post Jobs, and Transport Providers to quote for these Jobs, with a view to entering into a Transaction.

INFORMATION WHICH WE ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE YOU

www.quickshipr.co.uk is a site operated by quickshipr Limited (“we” or “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 14814854. Our registered office is at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Bury St. Edmunds, Mildenhall, Suffolk, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE.

Part A (the “General Conditions”) and Part B (the “Supplemental Conditions”) of these terms and conditions (together with the documents referred to within) set out the terms and conditions on which we provide our services to you.

You may access most areas of the Site without Registration, in which case only the General Conditions apply. Certain areas of the Site are only available to Members. If you register as a Member, you will be asked to confirm expressly that you have read and accept both the Supplemental Conditions and the General Conditions.

The Conditions apply to access to and use of the Site, and to any correspondence by email between you and us. Please read them carefully before using the Site. By using the Site, you accept the General Conditions. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Site.

We may revise these Conditions at any time by updating this page. You should check the Site regularly to review the current version, as they are binding on you. Some provisions may be superseded by legal notices published elsewhere on the Site.

Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.

PART A - GENERAL CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS

  • Transport Provider: a Member who has submitted a quotation for a Job.
  • Conditions: these General Conditions and, where applicable, the Supplemental Conditions.
  • User: a Member who has posted a Job on the Site.
  • Job: a transportation request posted by a User.
  • Member: a person who has registered on the Site.
  • Registration / Register: creation of a membership account and acceptance of the Conditions.
  • Site: www.quickshipr.co.uk
  • Transaction: an agreement between a User and a Transport Provider for performance of a Job.
  • Book Now: Jobs booked using instant pricing rather than the auction process.

ACCESS

We aim to ensure the Site is available 24 hours a day but will not be liable if the Site is unavailable for any reason or period. Access may be suspended temporarily without notice due to system failure, maintenance, or reasons beyond our control.

CONTENT

We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of material on the Site. Content may be changed or removed at any time and may be out of date. The Site and its contents are provided “as is” without warranties.

You must not post or transmit material that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, infringing, or technically harmful (including malware). Misuse of the Site, including hacking, is prohibited.

We will cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required.

LICENCE

You may view, print, and download extracts from the Site for personal use only, provided that:

  • content is not modified;
  • graphics are not used separately from text; and
  • copyright notices appear on all copies.

All intellectual property rights in the Site belong to quickshipr Limited or its licensors. Any unauthorised use terminates your permission to use the Site.

DISCLAIMER

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and any liability for loss or damage arising from use of the Site, including loss of income, profits, data, goodwill, or business.

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

TERMINATION

We may restrict or terminate access to the Site without notice if:

  • legal or regulatory changes prevent operation;
  • events beyond our control occur; or
  • you breach the Conditions or misuse the Site.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content.

You may link to the Site provided you do not misrepresent your relationship with us, alter branding, or imply endorsement.

DOMAIN NAME PROTECTION

You agree not to register or use any domain name that includes or imitates “quickshipr” or implies association with us.

GENERAL

The Site is directed at users in England and Wales. The Conditions are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

PART B - SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS (Members only)

REGISTRATION

You must be at least 18 and legally able to form binding contracts. Each account is for a single user. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

OUR ROLE – NEUTRAL VENUE

quickshipr is not a transport provider, broker, or intermediary. We provide a neutral platform where Users and Transport Providers can negotiate Transactions. We are not a party to any Transaction.

UNLAWFUL TRANSACTIONS

The Site must not be used for unlawful activities. Members are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

TRANSPORTATION RESTRICTIONS

Certain goods are prohibited or restricted. Hazardous materials may only be listed where legally permitted and properly declared. Compliance responsibility rests entirely with the parties to the Transaction.

FEES

Joining quickshipr is free. Transport Providers who secure Jobs pay a success fee (“Fee”), calculated as a percentage of the accepted quote. The Fee is shown before quoting and may vary by category.

Fees are payable even if a Job is later cancelled, subject to the cancellation provisions below.

CANCELLATIONS

If a Job is cancelled before work begins, a Cancellation Request may be submitted. Approved Deposits may be refunded or credited to a quickshipr account.

Credits are valid for 2 years and are non-withdrawable.

Abuse of the cancellation system may result in Membership termination.

FEEDBACK

Members may leave feedback (+1, 0, -1). Feedback reflects Members’ opinions and is not verified by quickshipr. Abuse of the feedback system is prohibited.

NO AGENCY

Nothing creates a partnership, agency, or joint venture between quickshipr and Members.

INFORMATION YOU SUPPLY

All information you provide must be accurate and lawful. Non-personal information may be used by us for operational and commercial purposes.

USE OF quickshipr NAME

You agree not to bid on, purchase, or use “quickshipr” or confusingly similar terms in online advertising (including Google Ads).

REJECTION OR REMOVAL OF MEMBERS

We may suspend or terminate Membership at any time, with or without notice. All decisions are final.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All proprietary information relating to quickshipr is confidential and must not be disclosed during or after Membership.

NON-SOLICITATION

You must not solicit or employ quickshipr employees or interfere with our business relationships.
